Madeira Veterinary Hospital welcomes you to our website!

Did you know we offer boarding at the hospital?  We can perform any services during a pets stay including yearly and senior exams, vaccinations, heartworm testing, bathing, and anesthetic procedures including surgeries (spays, neuters, mass removals) and complete dental cleanings.  For your convenience, we also offer house calls.

NOTE:  Our hours will be changing as of January 1st.  New hours will be 8am - 6pm Mon; 8am - 5pm Tu-Fri; 8am - 1pm Sat.

Madeira Veterinary Hospital was built in 1934 and is one of Cincinnati's oldest established veterinary hospitals.  Selected as one of the top veterinary clinics in the city by Cincinnati Magazine, we are honored to be one of our city's longest continuous AAHA member hospitals, having voluntarily achieved the high standards of the American Animal Hospital Association for over 36 years.  Only 14% of animal hospitals in the United States are AAHA accredited.

We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner. 

Our hospital is staffed with three full-time veterinarians, all of whom are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA), and the Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA).  We have a support staff of eleven: 4 receptionists, 3 registered veterinary technicians, 2 assistants, 1 kennel supervisor and an office manager. 

Madeira Veterinary Hospital is a full service companion animal hospital.  Located on Miami Ave in Madeira OH, Madeira Veterinary Hospital has been servicing the areas of Madeira, Indian Hill, Kenwood and Montgomery for over 80 years.  It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet.  Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.
